In 2024 alone, ransomware attacks targeting hospitals were reported in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Small and non-hospital medical institutions, in particular, have suffered greater damage due to limited security budgets and lack of specialized staff.
There is a growing need for measures to securely protect medical data in vulnerable IT environments.

To protect frequently updated medical data, storage protection is required. Backups can only restore data to a specific point in time when the backup was created, and cannot protect the latest medical data modified afterward.
